Thank you to all our members who attended our 6 th Biennial Conference in September 2025.At the AGM, several members expressed a desire to contribute more actively to the
association’s growth and pledged their support to ASAA. One way the ASAA will grow over
the next few years is through the development of robust committees.
We invite all members to join one of our committees and help drive ASAA’s transformation. All members can serve on one or more committees, and we ask members to consider taking on a leadership role.
Committee service is an important way to support and advance ASAA’s mission. Members of committees play an active role in shaping our conferences, publications, research initiatives, and outreach activities, while contributing to the continued growth and impact of African Studies across the continent and globally.
