Prof Stacey Hynd is currently advertising two postdoctoral research associate positions at the University of Exeter, associated with the AHRC standard grant 'Children of War: Evolving Local and Global Understandings of Child Soldiering in African Conflicts, c.1940-2000'.
The jobs are for 24 months, and available from Jan 2024. One post will support the research on Francophone case studies, with an intended focus on Rwanda/Democratic Republic of the Congo. The other will support research on Lusophone case studies, with an intended focus on Angola.
These posts are developmental opportunities for early career researchers, with training and mentoring provided. Applications are encouraged from scholars from the African continent and global South, and those of African or Global Majority descent.
